Unity Place is set to play a key role in supporting the city’s inaugural Milton Keynes Tech Week (22–26 September 2025), organised by Milton Keynes City Council.

Located directly opposite the station, Unity Place is both a literal and symbolic gateway to Milton Keynes. As a tech-centric building at the centre of one of the UK’s fastest-growing cities, it has quickly become a collaborative hub where thought leaders, innovators, and the wider community come together - reflecting the same spirit of growth, creativity, and inclusivity that defines MK Tech Week.

MK Tech Week will open at Bletchley Park, the historic birthplace of early computing and host of the first-ever Global AI Summit, setting the scene for a city-wide programme exploring robotics, artificial intelligence, lifelong learning, and entrepreneurial growth.

As part of the celebration, Unity Place - home to Santander UK’s headquarters and itself a headline partner of MK Tech Week - will host a series of events designed to highlight creativity, inclusivity, and the future of work. These sessions will bring together voices from across business, education, and community life, supporting Milton Keynes’ ambition to be recognised as a national hub for innovation.

Alongside these events, Unity Place’s co working space – x+why – a thriving hub teeming with creators and innovators, will also play a key role in supporting the festival.

The week at Unity Place will culminate in a Dragons’ Den–style showcase with Protospace, where 10 local tech businesses will present their ideas in a supportive setting, with cash prizes for those that combine innovation with community purpose.
