Who's In Your Wardrobe? @ Unity Place
Would you like to be part IF: Milton Keynes International Festival 2025? From being on stage to creating a flock of paper doves or being a fashion model - there are going to be plenty of ways to get creative and take part in your Festival at Unity Place.
Zwermers: Pan~//Catwalk – Community Participation. Who's In Your Wardrobe? @ Unity Place
We are excited to be bringing Zwermers’ Pan~// Catwalk to Unity Place. Through a fusion of fashion, choreography, live music and theatre, Pan~// Catwalk challenges the urge to label or judge others based on how they appear, revealing instead a mind-opening celebration of fluidity and self-expression.
Before the Zwermers performances on Friday 18 July, the company are inviting up to 30 people from Milton Keynes to take part in a four-day workshop with them that will lead to two community performances of Pan~//Catwalk at Unity Place on Saturday 19 July.
In the workshop, called Who's In Your Wardrobe?, they will work on the question of what identity means to you, and how clothing relates to it. In everyday life, we are constantly being watched and interpreted by others. Zwermers challenge that human instinct in a fun and interactive way.

What will you be doing?
You’ll be working with the artists to explore your identity through clothing, accessories or props. You’ll plan a series of 8-10 changes of clothes (not necessarily whole outfits) that you will use in the performance at the Festival. Don’t worry you DO NOT need to be in your underwear at any point! You can wear any base outfit that makes you feel comfortable. In the workshop you will work with a diverse group of participants towards a final performance of your collective Pan~//Catwalk on Saturday 19 July.
